In March, the Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School) launched a Routledge book aimed at ‘Demystifying Social Finance and Social Investment’.
Following its formal launch in March, Mark Salway (author and Managing Director, Moore Kingston Smith Fundraising and Management) and Jim Clifford OBE (editor and co-author, CEO and Founder of Sonnet CIC) want to continue the conversation and invite you to a further series of roundtable events leading up to Christmas. These are for people using, or interested in, social investment; investors, practitioners and those just interested in the debate.
Following our successful first roundtable earlier in June about the growth of social investment and how it looks now, we are looking forward to the second, covering The case for change: business models that fit social finance and social investment. We shall be exploring this with two guest panellists with a wealth of experience in finding and developing investible social businesses.
Like the first in the series, we want the event to be a spirited conversation, which will build awareness and understanding, inform, enlighten, align, and engage. It will also demonstrate the ‘Art of the Possible’ with social investment and social finance.
